摘要：Based on the overall view of communication theory and spoken English language testing system,this paper has conducted a comprehensive and specific observation and research on how examiner non-verbal behavior has affected candidate performance.The research has found out that not only examiner behavior including non-verbal behavior but language testing scenario itself is of communicative nature and examiner’s non-verbal behavior indeed promotes examinee’s test performance,which can help to better understand spoken testing system,examiner non-verbal behavior,and testing environment to promote the development of language speaking test and reflect examinee’s real language competence and ability.
